Assurances of Professionalism
The State Bar of Georgia's Committee on Professionalism has recognized the Macon Bar Association for its Assurances of Professionalism, a document created and approved by the Macon Bar in November 1997. The committee praised our Bar's efforts to raise the level of professionalism of lawyers and, at the same time, to raise the public's impression of lawyers in Georgia. The Assurances are intended to express each lawyer's commitment to respectful behavior toward other lawyers in general, with specific guidelines for situations that otherwise often generate animosity. A copy of the Assurances of Professionalism is available for download at the Macon Bar website.
